What is currently preventing it? We can't reconnect nerves. At all. Sometimes, in the peripheral system, they repair themselves over months and years, but the brain is connected to the rest of the body by millions upon millions of neurons, all (or at least the majority) of which would have to be reconnected. And we can't even do ONE yet. |
