I have determined after working on SEO of other web sites that meta tags,navigations and also the entire site requires being updated for SEO reasons. This kind of modification is not likely acknowledged by Google if the site have been present in the index for quite sometime already. Is it good to just carry on with this modification or would it be better to just allow the website to be part of it? I do not plan to put my rank aside that I have acquired with the help of the site. Is there any other alternative that I can use while having this modification but without losing my benefits?

Off page optimization is 70%, when on page optimization is 30%. You can see that off page optimization is more important. You need both in order to have a good PR. Off page optimization is all about your linking strategy and getting back links to visit your site. On page optimization focuses more on how to use keywords, when to use them, and where.

ya i agree because off-page providing more back link and page rank up through off-page submission .so off-page more important in seo

I don't know about the percent concept of SEO like what percent an on page seo is required and what percent an off page seo is required. Google has never declared that that much percent of onpage/offpage is required for getting PR6 OR PR7. But i believe proper combination of on page and off page seo activities can hep you to get well rank in SERP. It is true that Google put higher weight on quality backlinks but it means not that to do only offpage and forget onpage but many seo experts still say that first make your onpage effective and then start your offpage. This shows that on page stay ahead than offpage.

It's very easy to do it yourself - all the forms are on the Companies House website - you just print them off, fill them in, get them sworn and send them off.

If you good onpage work on your website. After your offpage optimization is strong you will get success automatically after sometime.
