| These are interrelated terms and depend on each other and very important from the Search Engine Optimization. Keyword Prominence: Keyword prominence is to how well-known your keywords are within your web page. In simple, this means how close to the beginning of the web page, Sentence (Body of the text), Title, H1 Tag, or Meta Description your keywords are placed. Keyword proximity - Keyword proximity is to how two or more keywords are close to each other. One will get superior rankings with proper placement and closeness of keywords. | Hi Keyword proximity is defined as the closeness between two keywords. Whereas, keyword prominence is defined as the location of a keyword in HTML source code of a web page. More high is the keyword, Google give more weight to that keyword. |

| Prominence is when and where the keywords will be most effective (i.e. header tags, titles, and in the body of your content). As far as proximity, this may often refer to the keyword and how close or far it is from your geographical targeted city or state. |
