Is providing your personal information to/on Facebook dangerous?
I for one am the type of person who does not even like uploading a picture of myself on any Profile page.

I don,t think so that it is dangerous.
But for me i think that pictures can be mis-used.

It is unhealthy mind set approach that we try to ourselves from the rest of the world. We should explore & expose our personality in certain limit.I don't think so that there are any hurdle or danger involved to uploading pictures on facebook.

So what, if you dont give personal info out its not dangarous. If your blogging sensibly then your mum shouldent really be able to ban you. If you respect your mums decisions talk to her about it, show her your blog and show her your sensible

If she sais no then sorry but shes not a very nice mom.

I think that pictures can be mis-used but i agree about the approach.

I wouldn't really say that facebook is dangerous as they have included several features to increase security on your profile in case you dont want strangers to access your information. in fact some polls show that most people are not worried about this

Yes, I agree but there are security setting that can be worth implementing when a person is putting their pictures and this will not allow anyone to access their pictures and profile to miss use.

Facebook till now is the safest way if we compare it to MySpace as, it is a problem that our account is not secured.
