Copy write is the protection for something you write and have published. No one else can use it and say it is theirs. If they want to make a movie from your book they must have your written permission. You could charge them to use it.
Ghostwriting would be if I had a great story and you sat with me and listened. You right my biography but My name goes as Author. You would be the Ghostwriter. Many celebrities that put out books use a ghostwriter
