![]() | ...back to my site) on my site? I have the usual link back to my site in the author box. I suspect from all the reading I've done that Google and the other two major search engines will ultimately penalize most of the copies of my article that might be placed on other websites, including maybe even mine although I am the author. However I just would like to know other opinions and whether or not having the same article on my site where the link points to is a disadvantage or not. I am aware I could change the article somewhat so the article on my site is somewhat different, but that might have to be a significant change so the article on my site would not be considered a duplicate article. If it is not detrimental to have the same article on my site, would placing the article on my site first, before I submit it to article directories, make any difference as far getting a duplicate penalty (this might be the same as going into Google's Supplemental Index) for my site? |
