Are there realistic job opportunities in copywriting? Do people w/o degrees have any luck. Is it worth time to take a course? How do you go about getting freelance work? Is it a realistic goal?

You can get any job in any field, but important thing is depend on your knowledge and experience. Because all small company have do not time and money for training so that they higher only experience person.

Yes. Copywriting has been a stable career in many industries and companies. You just have to build your experiences so that your career can also progress faster.
