 How much should I charge for copywriting/editing?
I know this may not be the exact category to ask this, but I've asked all over the business blogs and haven't gotten any useful hits!
I am an English teacher and haven't ever done any writing/editing for a private business before. Two of my good friends own a business together and asked me to do some work for them in a pinch. I did some copywriting for them as well as some editing and they want to know how much I charge per hour. Please help me come up with a fair estimate. I don't want to cheat my friends or myself. Thanks!
I am looking to get into freelancing on a more permanent basis, but this particular job was for friends so I feel like I'm between a rock and a hard place on this one. |
