![]() | ok so for MLA format I'm not sure how to place the comma in my parenthetical citation blahblahblabhalhb ("MethodOne", par. 3). blahljdklsfalhfaljsl ("MethodTwo," par. 4). i dont know if the comma after the article goes inside the parenthesis or outside.. i thought my teacher told us outside, but then when someone was peer editing my paper they wrote that it should go inside... anyone know? |

![]() | I'm assuming you meant quotes, but method one is technically correct... but I would highly doubt that your teacher would mark you wrong for method two... unless he/she is a stickler for those kinds of things... then I would change it to method one, just to be safe. But I wouldn't even use it at all, unless your teacher specifically requires it, as it isn't required in the MLA. Cheers |
