![]() | I want to add external articles to my website. Similar to what Yahoo has done with the following article (link below). They basically copied and pasted the article and put up a big stamp that said provided by Business Week. Would I need to sign some type of agreement with Business Week to show this article on MY website or can I in effect republish any article I find online as long as I say "provided by" provide a link to the site and list the author information http://finance.yahoo.com/loans/article/106802/Jumbo-Loans-Could-Make-a-Comeback?mod=loans-home |

![]() | You can copy article from other site, but I would advise to put a reference to the source then such material will normally concern both the primary source and a search engine. |

![]() | You can copy paste article of others, but you need to take the permission from owner of that article /site as well as give the source at the end.

![]() | Yes you can copy, but its not a good idea. Google will treat it as duplicate content. I would suggest to add canonical tag that should be pointed to the actual source.

![]() | It is not good idea to copy all in all article from another websites to your website. However, you can put some reference to other website. People come to your website to read what your website is about and what you want your reader to understand, not just any copied materials from other websites.
