...pay shipping for both? So I'm ordering 2 different posters on eBay from the same person, do I still pay shipping x2? Even though they could be sent in the same tube?

You will have to ask the seller. The seller has no obligations to give you any discounts for shipping on multiple items though.

you'd have to check the listing page to see if the seller offers postage discounts or you can contact the seller and see if they are willing to offer combined postage

Some sellers offer discount on shipping of multiple items and tell you in advance, some don't or forget to mention it. Just contact the seller and ask him or her. What's the point of even asking here? Lets say I tell you that you do not have to pay twice, but the seller says he never mentioned any shipping discounts and you do have to pay twice. Will you tell him that some guy on Yahoo told you the opposite?

Read the auction shipping details in full before you bid-
If you don't understand or need something to be clearer,
email the seller before you bid.

It is a the seller discretion to offer combined shipping.
Some seller will not combine shipping for any reason -
those seller I do not do business with.

mostly i dont think so that you should pay for both as it is being delivered to the same address so there is a less possibility,better have a word with them.

because Ebay is very clear according to terms & conditions.
