Will they charge you for doing this? What does a "Strike" mean? (Someone said this, but I don't know what it does)

If you don't pay, you will get negative feedback, and do it 3 times, your IP is permanently banned from eBay.

Your ip is banned then you cannot login to ebay from that ip,so beware and be genuine buyer

Follow what others said above, avoid getting banned. If you are not going to pay for something don't buy it, simple as that.

if you did it mistakenly , you can contact seller to explain it and ask seller to close the trade.
you will not get unpaid strike and the seller will get back final value from ebay

If you do this mistaken than you acn inform this ebay or trader of the product via email. But nobody will click three times and not paid than this is usual that you are not inrested to buying this product. I always use coupons on ebay to get few dollar off.
