Hi guys, I would like to ask a quick question and please forgive my innocence if this question has been asked before. The question that I have is that how good it is from SEO point of view to provide your readers with a link to other website for some information that is not available on your website. Especially when the other website does not know that you are linking to them and not using their preferred anchor text for this purpose. Thanks every one in advance.

Never give reference link of other site in your content submission. As this will be hurtful for your site traffic. If you get any visitor for your site and if you have provided the link to other site and if the visitor find that information more useful than your site , then you have to loss your visitor and that visitor will never come to your site again and move to the other site. And there is wrong if you put the reference link unknowingly to the site but this is biggest disadvantage of your site.
