| Doorway pages are similar to cloaking. In the process of doorway pages the page is design for search bots not for humans. The page has contain with lots of links with purpose of increase website search engine ranking. But it not recommended by most of experts because it's against of search engine rules. So overuse of doorway pages can be harmful for your site.

| Doorway pages are a block hat technique to rank a website within a very short span of time. These pages are created for a particular keyword or key phrase. They are created for search engines rather than for users. I this case, the visitor clicks on a page shown in SERPs, and he is redirected to a different page as a fast meta refresh tag is used behind it. |

| Doorways pages come under Black Hat Techniques which are not tolerated by Search Engines. Doorway pages are poor quality pages that are meant to rank web pages for some specific keywords.
