No-follow link intended to reduce the effectiveness of certain types of search engine spam, thereby improving the quality of search engine results and preventing spamdexing from occurring. I think it's benefit for dofollow links.

Though nofollow links can not be helpful in getting the higher rank but still it be helpful in getting the more traffic. As in google results also we can found the nofollow links.
And nofollow links indirectly be helpful in the ranking as traffic come to the site with that site get the content also. And due to the useful content, site can get the higher rank also.

No follow link is the best way to increase traffic on the website.No follow link does not consider by google search engine so no follow link does not consider by google search engine so it doesn't help to increase ranking.

No follow link helps only in getting traffic, It never helps is improving keyword ranking and page rank because of no follow does not pass the pr value to our site. So by the point of ranking traffic and page rank we should try to create links with do-follow tag and high pr resources.
