Default How many backlinks does my site need?

How many backlinks does my site need:
http://www.callofdutyboard.com
To be on the 1st page of Google, when somebody searches for "Call Of Duty Forum"

And, if I had 50 PageRank 1 backlinks, would that be better than having 10 PageRank 4 backlinks?

Thanks

Aw right,

I have my own free site and no dot-com name and my site comes up No1 every time. I go by the logo dddoc and there is a mob called dddoc .com and Godiddy who sell dot com names are part of dddoc .com and I kick there ass.

Google allow you to add your site to there listings, I did then my hit went down so i removed it. But what I do these days is Blog like crazy on Blogger.com, yahoo360, and have many other sites where my dddoc logo is all over the place and hyperlinks to my music site.

It's like when google does a search and finds my logo all over the place so places importance on it. If you do a dddoc you get me but add the .com and you get them..... not everybody does the dotcom so Blog and join many sites, free and forums with your name as your signature.

There is no any specific quantitative scale which tell the definite answer of this question rather it depend on quality of links, on page optimization & quality of content etc etc also.

depending on the search result competition for the keyword you're targeting - just add a few more backlinks to your site and you're good. if you want to stay on top of that keyword, keep building backlinks until you're confident that your competition would not be able to compete.

Hey, there would 5 PR not 50.

It depends on the competition if the completion is low then without back links you can be ranked on number one.

There is no specific method of quantitative scale that tell a clear answer to this question, it depends on the quality of the links page optimization and quality content, etc, etc, too. Depending on the results of the competition the keyword you are targeting - just add a couple of backlinks for your site and you're done. If you want to stay on top of a keyword to build back until you are sure that competition would not be able to compete.

Single answer to this question refers to the specific methods of quantitative criteria which he left, site optimization and content quality and also depends on the quality. Just went to your website - targeted as a result of competitive keywords. A request to rebuild on top of the league if you will be able to compete until I'm sure.

First, your competitors are probably building backlinks even as you read this; if they’re smart anyway. While Google doesn’t just keep a running tally and the website with the most backlinks wins, the number of links it still makes a difference.

Second, links get old and can drop off depending on what kind of links they are. Links from blog posts and blog comments can get archived or deleted. Or the blog could get deleted. Article directory links can also get archived and may not get “spidered” very often. Classified ads usually only last a month. Business directories get shut down or deleted. If you don’t keep creating backlinks, you will eventually have none.

No one can say this much of backlink will give keyword rank.
Do proper submission. Bring backlink using Anchor text of your keyword.
Submit in high pr sites.
Update fresh content regularly
