I notice that some reviews are real and come from real customers. However, I have the intuition that other reviews are fake and come from proxies (mercenaries) paid by companies to make false statements. This is only a feeling I have after reading many dubious reviews on Web sites for several years. My question is : do you make a decision based on these online reviews ?

well, it all depends on what type of website or product we're reviewing. I personally always google the company, website, and products for information and make sure it has no negative feedback before I believe in their stuff.

I think all reviews are not trustworthy some companies using fake review to promote their products .

The reviews which are given on these websites are reliable to some extend. The stronger the reputation of website the reliability on review is more. so the reviews of famous and reliable web portals should be considered.

If the site is good with a good moderation system then you can get many genuine reviews otherwise now a days there are many marketing policies and they do the fake reviews to get the attention of the customers.
