![]() | when you first open google chrome, (or if you open a new tab) you come to the page that has your nine thumbnails of most visited websites. at the top of that page, under the URL bar, there is a row of bookmarked pages (a light blue rectangle). also, when you come to this page, at the right side of your screen under "search your history", there is another blue rectangle that says "recent bookmarks", and shows you about 9 pages that you have recently bookmarked. if you don't want to open a new tab, you can open a bookmark from a tab you are currently using as well. at the top right corner of your screen under the buttons to minimize, restore or maximize, and exit, there are 2 buttons (one looks like a page and one looks like a wrench). you can click on the wrench and it will pull down a drop down menu. from this menu, you can click "always show bookmarks bar", and the blue rectangle at the top of your screen will show up on any tab you are using. if you want to get rid of it, you can go back to that menu at any time and click "always show bookmarks bar" again to get rid of it. also, if you have more bookmarks than google chrome can show you, you can click the two arrows pointing right or "other bookmarks" to show all of your bookmarked pages. |
