Default Will Yahoo ruin Del.icio.us?

Yahoo just bought Del.icio.us yesterday. Will they totally screw it up or start charging for features or will they realize that they shouldn't try to "fix" what's not broken?

If anything it will hopefully be more simple to learn have a better interface. I can see them adding things like ranking of your links. also looking up stuff on yahoo maybe even better useing tags to find links. just look at yahoo answers and how well it works. i hope it dosen't go pay

I doubt they'll make huge changes, since it's so popular already. They kept flickr free when they bought it, so I'm not too concerned about that.

Doubtful.

Check out www.flickr.com

Yahoo! bought this great service and it's still fabulous. This leads me to believe they will leave Del.icio.us largely alone, but incoporate it into their services (Yahoo! 360 and My Web).

Check out the post on del.icio.us's blog to see their response to the acquisition.

See Om Malik's blog for info, as well.
