I went to the site a while back and I didn't really get it or something...maybe it's changed, but I'd rather just ask a bunch of people what it is before going to the site again. More fun that way on an otherwise boring night...I'm a rebel.

In a nutshell it is a social bookmarking site. You sign up and then when you come across a site you like, you add it to your bookmarks and share with others in the community. In their own words:

Delicious is asocial bookmarking site and good one for the traffic and links or ranking.
