Default help with designing my web site please?

im creating a website using dreamweaver, im using a 22 inch monitor to design on how do i make the website look the same on all monitor sizes all help appreciated thanks.

I use CSS and create containers/divs. The main container/div can have a repeating background while the other container/div within the main container/div can be centered or whatever you like.

I like to set these up using divs. Set the width of the main div to 100%.

the simple answer is...you cant.

its one of those things you have to deal with as a web developer. You determine your audience, and design for the largest demographic. You can set a static width, but users with higher resolutions may see lots of empty space.

(it's not actually so much the size of the monitor that matters, as it is the resolution the user is running it at.)

I think page size is depending to tag, I also using dreamweaver and many time create web page all time I'll use this tag. I think this is useful for you.

I think you should use themes.
It wil have better results.

the best way and the easiest way to create a site is through templates. creating a site using templates doesn't require any programming knowledge. you can buy the templates from a vendor and create a site. i created my site by this method only. i bought templates from here. Tucktail.com you can also try this site to get the templates.
