Post Firefox too slow?

I am experiencing difficulties wit my firefox, for some weird reason it appears to be getting slower by the time. Does anybody know anything about this or know how to fix it?

I too had firefox. Is it just your system running a virus scan in the background? The other problem I found was that when trying to create my avatar or view certain links it kept kicking me offline and bringing up the box "reconnect to broadband" which is a pain. Am now using internet explorer and have had no problems so far
