Word press.org ???? Help?
I want blog at word press.org- and the directions are soooo hard to understand, DOes anyone out there know how to get a blog at word press.org ( not wordpress.com), please explain it in laments terms so I can understand it. lol. Or how to get started at least?

Wordpress.org is where you get the blogging software for wordpress to install and run off your own server. If you have your own server and know the basics of configuring MySQL and PHP, then you just follow the directions for uploading the software to your website.

Wordpress.com is for people who are less tech-savvy or don't have their own servers. It allows you to have a free Wordpress blog hosted by Wordpress.

Here are the simplified instructions for installing Wordpress from Wordpress.org:

If this isn't "laymen's terms" enough for you, I'm afraid you're better off with Wordpress.com.
