I currently run a website which I have implemented a blog on. Naturally, the blog is running using Wordpress from that single /blog directory. The blog has been coded to using the theme I made for the rest of my website.

To edit the other pages I have to edit the code I wrote for each individual page and re-upload it via FTP. Is it worth me installing Wordpress on the main directory and using it to run my whole website, using my theme with links to the pages I make via Wordpress?

What are the pros and cons of me using Wordpress to manage the whole website?

wordpress is actually an awesome site! check out mine and see how you like mine and maybe even get a picture in your head about what your might look like if you moved yours there....

You get to pick a layout and add pictures and everything... Its really fun.

Wordpress is really great. Still you'll need to be sure that you get the best Internet Advertising when you get that new site. Have a look at Bluestripe.ca

Wordpress is really good with blogging needs but you wuold not have a private site/blog if your going with wordpress. Everything must pass under them.
